There is a keen interest for electrical vehicle (EV) innovations because of their lower fuel usage and greenhouse emission output. One of the latest novelties in this field is the integration of EV’s with the dynamic wireless charging technology. Dynamic wireless power transfer (DWPT) technique can sufficiently expand travel distance of EV since the charging will be in motion. In addition, the problem of low power batteries can be eliminated. However, there are several limitations of the current dynamic wireless power transfer technology: 1) low power transfer efficiency due to coil-to-coil misalignment and 2) slow charging time. Thus, aim of thesis work is the comprehensive investigation on the development of DWPT with the high efficiency. In particular, a modelling of DWPT technology along with the simulation verification is planned.
